Professional tailor mannequin

A professional tailor mannequin is not a display dummy. It is a precision tool for draping, pattern making, and garment construction. Our soft dress forms are used by ateliers, fashion schools, and independent designers across Europe and worldwide.

Each mannequin features a cotton cover with stitched balance lines, a sturdy metal stand, and a design that accepts pins and steam — essential for professional draping work.

Choose the right professional dress form for your work

Advantages

  1. Cotton cover with balance lines

Professional draping requires visual guides. Our Monica and Victoria models include stitched balance lines — grain lines, center front, center back, waist, and hips — so you can align fabric correctly without measuring each time.

  2. Pinnable and steam-resistant

Pin directly into the soft torso. Use steam during fitting. The form holds its shape and recovers after pinning — designed for daily studio use.

  3. Anatomical accuracy

Proportions match real female and male bodies. Penelope features a waist that is 15 cm smaller than standard — specifically for corsetry and lingerie draping.

  4. DHL Express worldwide

Dispatch within 1-3 business days. Delivery to Europe in 3-5 days. Fully tracked. No hidden claims — shipping cost is calculated at checkout.

  5. Warranty on torso base

One-year warranty against manufacturing defects on the torso base. Cover and stand are not covered — they are subject to normal wear in professional use.

Got Questions?

1 What is the difference between a professional tailor mannequin and a display mannequin?

A professional dress form is built for draping, pinning, and pattern making. It has a soft, pinnable surface, accurate body proportions, and often includes balance lines for alignment. A display mannequin is for showcasing finished garments — not for construction work.

2 Which model is best for haute couture and prêt-à-porter draping?

Monica or Victoria. Both feature cotton or Milano knit covers with balance lines. Victoria has premium printed lines. Monica offers the widest size range (XXS–XXXL / 34–48 EU).

3 Do you offer free shipping?

No. We ship via DHL Express worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination. Dispatch within 1-3 business days. Delivery to Europe in 3-5 business days.

4 What is your return policy?

Contact us at order@royaldressforms.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Refund issued after we inspect the returned item — must be unused and in original packaging.

5 Is there a warranty?

Yes. One-year warranty on the torso base against manufacturing defects. The cover and stand are not covered — they experience normal wear in professional use. For warranty claims, email us with photos.

6 Can I pin and steam directly on the mannequin?

Yes. All our soft dress forms accept pins and steam. The cover recovers after pinning. Steam does not damage the form — it is designed for professional draping and fitting.

7 What sizes are available?
  • Monica, Penelope, Victoria: XXS to XXXL (EU sizes 34 to 48)
  • Betty: half scale (approx. XS)
  • Richard, Henry: S, M, L
8 How do I choose the right size?

Choose a size that matches your measurements or is slightly smaller. Back waist length is also important for fit. Contact us at order@royaldressforms.com if you need help.

9 Do I have to pay customs duties and import taxes?

Yes. Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. We cannot undervalue orders or mark them as gifts. Contact your local customs office for estimated costs.

10 Which model is best for a fashion school or sample room?

Betty (half scale) for teaching and fabric saving. Monica (full scale) for professional sample making. Both are durable, pinnable, and designed for repeated use.
