Soft tailor’s dress form Monica, Light set

This is a basic kit that includes everything you need to get started. Now you can design and sew clothes on the professional dress form.

What's in the set?

Monica dress form torso;
- Sturdy metal stand "Milan" with removable wheels and adjustable height;
- Retainer of rotation: Rotation lock for fixing the dummy during work;
- Breathable dust-proof storage pouch.

Foam torso:

- Made of elastic polymer material. You can easily pierce it with full length pins. Ideal for drapery: dress form holds pins firmly;
- Resistant to iron and garment steamer. You can iron and steam your clothes directly on the dress form, which is not possible with traditional plastic dress forms or papier-mâché;
- Compressibility. The torso base is made from a material that is used in car seats. Therefore, the dress form is capable of compressing for comfortable handling of stretchable fabrics.

Cover:

- Unique handmade cotton cover with balance lines for comfortable work;
- The cover is water-repellent, easy to clean with a soft damp sponge;
- The cover is put on in the Production environment and cannot be removed.

Shape:

• Sizes: XXS - XXXL* (34 - 48 EU; 2 - 16 US);
• Anatomical body shape, which helps in fitting;
• Thighs to try on and model trousers;
• Contemporary figures designed in accordance with the latest anthropological research;
• 2-year warranty for the polymer torso filling.

For size S, there is an option to choose the body shape type:

Standard size S - Typical size S figure, anatomically similar to the standard figure of the modern woman.

Size S - Rectangle: Slim figure with model parameters. Compared to the standard dress form shape, the back is increased to 41 cm and the hip circumference is reduced by 7 cm. In addition, these proportions are transferred to accessories for the dress form. The leg circumference for the dress form will be 0.5-1 cm smaller than the standard one.

Size S - Inverted Triangle: this dress form shape is characterized by broad shoulders and bust that narrow down to the hips. 

Size S - Hourglass: has a truly feminine hourglass figure with a pronounced chest and a slender waist. It is designed for a height of 164 cm and pronounced shapes.
In comparison with the standard size S, she has a smaller waist circumference, a more pronounced chest, and the back is shorter by 1 cm. In addition, these proportions are transferred to accessories for the dress form. The leg circumference for the dress form will be 0.5-1 cm smaller than the standard one and arms length is 58 cm.

Size S - Pear: This figure has large hips which are wider than the bust and shoulders.
